In this project, I redesigned the space of the restaurant,

La Bodega at Pavilion, Kuala Lumpur, into a modern female retail store. My goal for this project was to create

a space that would instantly give a spontaneous vibe and attract young customers. I used a lot of colors to put in the spontaneity and vibrancy today’s youth look for. I kept the walls white and gave a black and white checkers vinyl flooring to neutralize and balance the atmosphere. My inspiration for this project was Gerrit Rietveld’s idea of balancing colors. I used mostly glossy colored plastic for the furniture as this material would provide the

spontaneity and vibe of youth that I wanted the space to have.
